Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Wendy Raffaldt

I am a Kindergarten teacher at Winecoff.  This will be my 36th year of teaching.  I graduated from UNCC with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and K-6 Elementary Education.

I am married with two children and two grandsons. My husband, Randy, owns a dump truck company that keeps us quite busy.  Victoria is an RN at CMC-Northeast in the Levine Cancer Center and just finished her Nurse Practioner's Degree.  She has a son named McConnor who is in 7th grade at Mt Pleasant Middle School.  Victoria is married to Brian and he also has a son named Colton.  Andrew is a senior at UNCC studying Exercise Science. He is looking into a perfusionist career. I enjoy watching McConnor play baseball and now football this year, camping, reading and shopping.  I LOVE teaching kindergarten and truly feel this is my calling.  I am looking forward to a great year with you and your child! I'm so excited to be a part of the Dual Immersion class again this year!  This will be my 6th year teaching with Mrs. Baccalini.  We make a great team!

Thank you for entrusting your child to us here at Winecoff. I know it will be..."A Year to Remember"!
