Mrs. Mary Ann Poplin

Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Mary Ann Poplin and this will mark my 26th year of teaching.  I have been a teacher here at Winecoff since 2005. Now just a little about myself. I live in Locust(not too far from Concord) with my husband, Jerry and our 13 year old son, Luke. I have been fortunate that Luke was able to attend Winecoff with me and now is an eighth grader at Northwest Cabarrus Middle School. He keeps us very busy during the fall, spring and summer months playing baseball. This has become a big part of our lives and we love it! Now on to what I love to do at school..teaching! Teaching is something that I have  wanted to do since I was a little girl in first grade. It is definitely my dream come true!
