Hello, my name is Michael Cole. I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year. First grade is so wonderful because there is so much learning and growth that takes place over the year. We learn to read, write, and become mathematicians and scientists. But, the best part is becoming friends and learning how to care for and support each other.  

In preparation to become a teacher, I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have a passion for helping children learn and grow into lifelong learners. As a teacher, I believe that a child is most successful when there is a partnership between home and school.
