I am so excited to be at Winecoff! This is my seventh year teaching and third year in third grade. My husband and I just moved to Concord with our son, Callan and bulldog, Farley. I grew up in a bilingual household and I am thrilled to be part of a dual language program. I am originally from western North Carolina and went to UNC-Asheville for my undergraduate degree in psychology and sociology. I then began a path to teaching starting as a teacher assistant, then an interventionist. I taught for a year and a half in Colombia (where my mother is from) and returned to study teaching. I earned my master's in Elementary Education and ESOL from UNC-Wilmington.
