Hi! I am so excited for a new year of discovery and wonder! 

This is my 23rd year teaching and my 11th year as an AIG teacher. I have taught both 1st and 3rd grade and now enjoy teaching grades 1st-5th. I received my BA in Education at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and my certificate in gifted education at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 21 years, my 17 year old son, and our lazy but lovable dog Cooper. We love beach trips, camping, and just being silly together. My favorites include reading, spending time with friends and family, shopping, and crocheting.
