Kindergarten is a very big year for your child’s reading development. ​

​We do not have required homework lessons, but it is imperative that you read with your child for 10-15 minutes​ every night. Right now, it does not matter if you are reading to your child or he/she is reading to you; what matters is that the children are engaged with books every night at home. ​

At the beginning of September we begin sending home a reading log. Please sign the reading log each night indicating that your child read with or to you, and return the log each day.
