STEPS TO REGISTER FOR 23/24 CLASSES AT CCHS:

Information on this page is intended for Rising 9th graders coming to CCHS in Fall 2023. Please use the resources here to help you as you plan and select classes for your freshman year.

CCHS Counselors have worked closely with Middle School Counselors to prepare for Registration. You may wish to consult with your Middle School Counselor as you consider your class options, and look for answers to questions.

STEP 1- Review your class options at CCHS for 23/24. Look at the 9th Grade one-page course option worksheet or the STEM 9th Grade one-page course option worksheet (Depending on whether you will be a STEM or non-STEM student). Consider all the courses, talk to your teachers and your parents and get their input. Review course descriptions HERE.

STEP 2- Make your 23/24 CCHS Course Requests by completing the online Google Form below. Please complete the form only once.

CCHS 9th Grade Registration Form- this form will open on March 14 (and will close on March 17 at 6pm).

CCHS Counselors will visit CC Griffin and JN Fries to assist students there with completing the online form.

CCHS STEM 9th Grade Registration Form- closed on March 10 at 10am. Was open on March 1st.

STEP 3- Attend CCHS Rising 9th grade Transition Day on March 13. (details and link will be available from Middle School Counselor).

If you will be a STEM student- plan to also attend the STEM Acceptance Night at CCHS on March 1 at 5:30pm to 7pm.

Rising 9th Grade Parent Night- on March 9 from 5:30pm to 7pm. More information at bit.ly/FutureViks

STEP 4- Plan to stay informed and attend events listed below. Sign up to get text alerts with REMIND by texting @27vikingcc to 81010.

STEP 5- Confirmation Sheets listing 23/24 Course requests will be delivered to middle school students via their Counselor the week of March 20.

STEP 6- On May 15 student schedules for 23/24 will be delivered to Middle Schoolers via their Counselor. If a schedule change is needed, students can complete this online form to make that request.
