Welcome to my webpage! This will be my 16th year teaching in high school, and my tenth year at Central.  I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.A in Chemistry and a B.A. in English.  Before my teaching career, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry, but I decided it was not for me and changed careers.  I taught high school English in Charlotte-Mecklenburg and later became certified in Special Education.  I enjoy spending time with my husband, twin daughters, and our two dogs.  My hobbies include reading and cooking, and I love all things Harry Potter and Star Wars.
