Ms. Michaela Jones

 

Hello rocket families!

My name is Michaela Jones, I am thrilled to begin my third year here at Royal Oaks School of the Arts! I graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2017 with a BA in Dance performance, choreography, and theory.

Following graduation, I worked in administration with Charlotte Ballet before moving home to Greenville, NC to begin teaching dance. I have taught for several years as a studio dance instructor in both Pitt and Stanly County. I began dancing at age 3 and studied a variety of dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, and pointe.

I am looking forward to sharing my love of dance with each scholar at Royal Oaks this year!
