Mr. David Lurie

Hello 2nd Grade! This year my classes are diving into Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. We are using a STEM approach with problem based learning, working on the process of writing, and investigating social studies that relate to our lives in North Carolina. This is going to be a great year.

Who am I?

Previous to coming to BHE and teaching 4th and 5th grade, I lived and taught 3rd and 4th grade in New Jersey. I went to Paramus High School and have a B.A. in communications from Quinnipiac University. This is a second career for me, after working in communications and mixed media I went back to school and earned a Masters in the Art of Teaching in Elementary Education at Montclair State University.
