Mrs. Brittany Brooks

Welcome! I am thrilled to be the Multilingual Learner teacher at Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary . This is my ninth year teaching at CWES. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

I was born and raised in the Charlotte area. I now live in Kannapolis with my husband Nicholas, our four-year-old daughter Amelia, and dog Ryder. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and taking walks at our local parks. I am an avid reader, and enjoy sharing my love of books with my students. 

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year with my multilingual learners!

¡Bienvenidos! Estoy encantada de ser la maestra de estudiantes multilingües en la escuela primaria Coltrane-Webb STEM. Este es mi noveno año enseñando en CWES. Obtuve mi Licenciatura en Artes en Educación Primaria y M.Ed. en Currículo e Instrucción con un enfoque en la enseñanza del inglés como segundo idioma de la Universidad de Carolina del Norte en Charlotte.

Nací y crecí en el área de Charlotte. Ahora vivo en Kannapolis con mi esposo Nicholas, nuestra hija Amelia de cuatro años y el perro Ryder. Cuando no estoy enseñando, disfruto pasar tiempo con mi familia, viajar y caminar en nuestros parques locales. Soy un ávido lector y disfruto compartiendo mi amor por los libros con mis alumnos.
