Mrs. Harkey

My name is Rachel Harkey. I grew up in Midland and graduated from Cabarrus County Schools. I was a kindergarten teacher in Stanly County for 21 years. After completing my Master's degree at UNCC in early childhood special education, I began teaching at Mary Frances Wall Center in an inclusion classroom. This is my seventh year teaching at MFWC. During those years, I taught three- and four-year-olds and worked with the eligibility process. My husband and I have five young adult children and five grandchildren.

I look forward to another wonderful year of play, learning, and wonderful relationships with children, their families, and co-workers at MFWC.
