Ms. Cynthia Taylor

 I have enjoyed teaching at Mt Pleasant High School since 2006. I hope to continue enjoying the wonderful Mt Pleasant Community and High School, with some of the best parents, teachers, administration, and students I have ever met.  As a Social Studies Teacher at MPHS, I have been blessed to teach Civics and Economics, World History, and American History.  I am certified to teach all History courses, American government (Civics), Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Geography, and Comparative government courses.

I am a proud mother of three adult daughters and seven beautiful grandchildren. I love teaching children, especially teenagers. This is the career I always wanted since I was a little girl growing up near Salisbury, NC. I have attended Brigham Young University-Provo, McIntosh College-NH, Rowan Cabarrus Community College, and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I completed by Bachelor Degree of Arts in History with certification in Secondary Schools Social Studies.
