About Cabarrus Health Sciences Institute

We are excited to announce a new Cabarrus County Schools Program Choice school for rising 9th graders in 2022-2023! Cabarrus Health Sciences Institute is designed to expand students' opportunities for educational and career success in the health sciences. Cabarrus County Schools, Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, and Atrium Health seek to create a pipeline of highly qualified healthcare professionals who mirror the diverse population of Cabarrus County.  This high school is for any student interested in accelerated high school program and especially first generation college students.  Students will be surrounded with academic and socioemotional support.  They will graduate with a high school degree, college degree or college transfer credits, professional certification, and be prepared for health science careers.
