My name is Shirley Jones.  I have been teaching over thirty years in grades 1 and 2 in the Biloxi Public School District.  I graduated from Mississippi Valley State University in 1982.  As I continued to grow in education I have become National Board Certified which addressed my life and students' lives to new heights.  Through the years I have served on various committees to help our vision and mission statement which is "Excellence.....From all.....For all" I am ensuring that every student that enters my classroom is receiving a quality education everyday.  Yes, I am a veteran teacher with heart!
