Principal's Message
Welcome to the home of the Babylon Panthers!
On behalf of our faculty and staff, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the official website for Babylon Junior-Senior High School. The website’s main purpose is to enhance the home, school, and community connection. Our site is designed to provide you with easy access to timely school information. We are excited to use this website to partner with the entire Babylon Community to create a learning environment that is engaging, challenging and supportive.
BHS is filled with great traditions and outstanding students. Led by a dedicated and professional teaching staff, Babylon Junior-Senior High School is focused on one objective: providing a positive learning environment for our students. We focus on student learning, and we strive to create a positive and safe learning environment. We will continue with our technology integration to support the “Four Cs” of 21st Century Learning: Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity. These four skills are essential for creating a successful learning environment. A learning environment where students are active participants as individuals and as members of collaborative groups. We focus on motivating and nurturing students to learn in a healthy and supportive environment which develops compassion and mutual respect.
A well-rounded BHS experience stresses academics but also active participation in co-curricular activities. Babylon Junior/Senior High School offers an array of clubs, organizations, and sports teams for students to join. We encourage students, staff, and parents to become involved in our visual and performing arts programs, academic competitions, athletic programs, student government, and student clubs.
Please take the time to look throughout our web pages. We are confident that the information you find here is helpful and will acquaint you with all BHS has to offer. GO Panthers!
Sincerely,
Al Cirone, Principal
