The Advisory Committee shall be formed consisting of up to six (6) MACSFA unit members designated by the Association, up to three (3) designees for the Superintendent, and up to three (3) designees for the Board of Education.  The Advisory Committee shall meet two (2) times each semester during the school year and at such other times as are mutually agreeable.

The Advisory Committee shall be for the purpose of allowing the parties to discuss educational and professional issues of mutual concern. At committee meetings, the Association, through its representatives, may make recommendations orally, or in writing.  The Superintendent may notify the Advisory Committee in advance of significant changes in policy the District is contemplating which would affect major conditions of employment, with the intent being to allow the Association to make its recommendations to the Board of Education prior to final Board action.
