Mexico High School Pierce Library Mission Statement:
The Mexico High School Pierce Library is dedicated to helping school community members to become independent readers, thinkers and researchers. The program fosters the success of an inquiry and project based curriculum incorporating 21st century information and technology skills that will allow all school community members to be more successful and thoughtful citizens of the world.
Our Goals:
Support students and staff, as they access, evaluate, and use information effectively utilizing the inquiry process in all areas of study.
Develop a dynamic collection of books and e books that motivates readers and builds a schoolwide culture of reading for enjoyment. Students consistently assist in collection development to gain ownership of our library.
