Four C.W. Baker High School students to participate in Girls State this summer
June 16, 2023
Four members of the C.W. Baker High School Class of 2024 will participate in the American Legion Auxiliary Empire Girls State program this summer.
Margot Klein, Natalie Kelepurovski, Isabella Clark and Sofia Beck were selected as delegates and will be participating in the program, which will be held from July 2nd to the 8th at SUNY Brockport.

C.W. Baker High School students receive 17 awards at CNY High School Film Festival
The CNY High School Film Festival was held Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Palace Theatre and C.W. Baker High School’s Film and News programs were recognized and honored.
Baker students took home 17 awards, including seven first place winners! Seniors Ruby Price and Kennedy Collins won the Best Filmmaker Award.

BOE approves final step for new superintendent

The Board of Education approved the contract for Dr. Joseph DeBarbieri on Monday, June 5th. This was the final step in approving our new Superintendent of Schools.
The school board appointed Dr. DeBarbieri to the position at the February 21st board meeting. He will take on the role of permanent superintendent on July 1, 2023.

Schedule for 2023 Graduates’ Names on District Sign
Graduates’ names will run in alphabetical order, about 15 names a day, from 6/12/23 to 7/10/23, and then the names will run again, from 7/11/23 to 8/7/23.
Names will run on the sign each day from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Each name is held for 10 seconds. It takes about 2.5 minutes to cycle through the list of names.
