Master Seargent Sally Baker visited third graders at Veeder Elementary School and told the class about her work in Antarctica. She discussed the weather, terrain, work sites, environment and much more. The children were so interested in what she had to share. It truly was a “once in a lifetime” lesson about a place in our world that most people don’t have the opportunity to visit. Thanks to Kristen Blais (mother of student, Aubrey Roberts-Weatherby) who was responsible for bringing Master Seargent Sally Baker to us.This was part of our year-long travel with Flat Stanley!
