Veeder Elementary School is proud to announce the winners of this year’s third grade technology egg car race challenge.
In the category “with help,” left to right winners are: 3rd Place – Chaudhry Sheharyar, 2nd Place – Madden Abraham and 1st Place – Kyle Trombley In the category “without help,” 1st Place was awarded to Tyler Niemie.
During this challenge, students are given wheels and axles from the district to build their own cars that are both fast and safe. Once they are built, the students race one another until there are three left from each division (with help and without help.) These cars race down a ramp into a cement brick carrying a raw egg. The first car to win with an egg that stays safe and unbroken wins.
