Students in Hope Bigwarfe’s and Stacey Sebert’s 8th grade classes at Sand Creek Middle School have been working on a year-long project researching a National Park of their choice. As they completed each unit of Earth Science, they have conducted research to see how the topic pertained to their park. They completed units such as Weathering, Erosion, and Deposition; Rocks and Minerals; and Astronomy. Students presented their research slides at the end of the school year to their class.
