Here is an update to the online threat that was discovered last night. After an investigation by the Colonie Police Department and the School District, the threat has been determined to be non-credible and there was no intent to make a direct threat towards any individual or any individual school building.
As with all concerns, we thank those community members who contacted authorities and brought this forward for review. We thank the Colonie Police Department, Building and District staff members for their cooperation and professionalism in dealing with this situation in a timely manner.
We look forward to all of our schools opening on time today and having a safe and productive end to the school year.
