Colonie Central High School iCARE students will seek to raise funds and support Safe Harbour, iCare’s partner in creating awareness and support for youth who are at risk of being trafficked, sexually exploited, or victimized. The iCARE team is inviting South Colonie community members and district families to the Colonie Village Family Recreation Center on Friday, Jan. 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. for their annual iCare chili cook-off.
This community event is set to feature delicious samples of chili and a special entry from the South Colonie Board of Education members, with all proceeds to support Safe Harbour.
The cost to attend is $10 per person or $20 for a family of three or more.
