Forest Park Celebrates Holiday Week

Forest Park Elementary School celebrated holiday week before the Christmas/New Year’s break. Mr. Ryan led the school in a sing-along of holiday songs. Third and fourth graders performed with him, then teachers joined in, followed by the whole school. There was also a Grinch Day with teachers dressing up and Mrs. Penn taking turns reading “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” to various classes. Kindergarten classes and parents joined in by making holiday cookies and gingerbread men and delivered them to the community helpers in the school (librarian, custodian, secretaries, etc.). Friday ended the week with Polar Express PJ Day where students and staff wore their festive pajamas to school to enjoy the day before break.
