Colonie Central High School senior Kaitlyn Jesmonth was recognized in December as a Good Citizen by the Mohawk Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
Each year, the Mohawk Chapter of DAR recognizes one student each from Colonie Central High School, Shaker High School, and Albany High School at the organization’s annual awards ceremony at the Pruyn House in Latham. Outstanding dependability, service, leadership and patriotism are all considered in selecting a school’s Good Citizen.
