Colonie Central High School (CCHS) PTSA hosted the 38th annual craft fair on Saturday, Nov. 19 at CCHS.
In addition to dozens of vendors, the PTSA held a shoe drive-collecting a total of 33 bags of shoes (25 pairs per bag)—well above their goal of 100 pairs!
The collected shoes will not only support the CCHS PTSA but they will be used to give a second life to those in need through microenterprise.
“The Craft Fair was a huge success,” said PTSA Recording Secretary Jen Houlihan. “Dollars for Scholars raised over $700 and the PTSA did really well-selling concessions raffle tickets and 50-50. We were super grateful for all our student volunteers.”
