CCHS Grad Teaches Lisha Kill 5th Graders About Africa

African American woman teaches class

Former South Colonie student Cherae Robinson and her son Trace presented to Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Stark’s fifth grade classes at Lisha Kill Middle School. The topic of their presentation was Africa before the Middle Passage. The students learned so much about African kingdoms — culture, innovations, and land were some topics covered. Ms. Robinson, as the Founder and CEO of TasteMakers Africa, travels to Africa regularly, sometimes accompanied by her son, Lisha Kill fifth grader Trace.
