Colonie Central High School Advanced Placement (AP) Chemistry students attended an NMR workshop at Hudson Valley Community College in June. The students were introduced at the workshop to the chemical analysis tool of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). NMR helps to determine very precisely the composition of specific substances. The class was hosted by Erin Rennells, a South Colonie parent and professor at HVCC.
