    To adopt the annual budget of the Southampton Union Free School District for the fiscal year 2019-2010 in the amount of $71,908,015 to authorize the requisite portion thereof to be raised by taxation on the taxable property of the District.

    To elect two (2) members of the Board of Education for a four-year term commencing July 1, 2019, and expiring on June 30, 2023, to fill the positions held by Donald J. King and Roberta O. Hunter, Esq., whose terms expire on June 30, 2019.

    PROPOSITON NO. 3

    Shall the Board of Education of the Southampton Union Free School District, pursuant to Section 3651 of the Education Law, be authorized to amend the reserve fund known as the Southampton Bus Fleet Replacement Capital Reserve fund which was established by the voters on May 19, 2009 in that the purpose of the reserve fund shall continue to be to finance, in whole or in part, the replacement of Southampton's fleet of buses; that the reserve fund amount shall be amended to an amount not to exceed $5,000,000; that the probable term of the reserve fund shall be extended for an additional 10 years, through June 30, 2029, with such funds to be obtained from end of budget year surplus funds and/or budget appropriations. Note: the approval of this proposition will not have an impact on the tax levy for 2019-2020.

    Otorgar a La Junta de Educación del Distrito Escolar Libre de Unión de Southampton, de conformidad con la sección 3651 de la Ley de Educación, la autorización para enmendar el fondo de reserva conocido como el “Fondo de Reserva Capital para Reemplazo de la Flota de Autobuses de Southampton”, que fue establecido por los votantes el 19 de mayo de 2009; en el sentido de que el propósito del fondo de reserva continúe siendo financiado, en todo o en parte; el reemplazo de la flota de autobuses de Southampton, que la cantidad del fondo de reserva se modificará a una cantidad que no exceda de $5,000,000; que el plazo probable del fondo de reserva se extenderá por un período adicional de 10 años, hasta el 30 de junio de 2029, y dichos fondos se obtendrán a partir de fondos excedentes del año presupuestario y/o asignaciones presupuestarias. NOTA: la aprobación de esta propuesta no tendrá un impacto en la recaudación de impuestos para 2019-2020.

    Shall the Board of Education of the Southampton Union Free School District be authorized to appropriate and expend an amount not to exceed three hundred and eighty thousand ($380,000) for the purchase/replacement of three (3) 72-passenger buses from funds currently on hand in the "Southampton Bus Fleet Replacement Capital Reserve Fund," established by the voters on May 19, 2009. Note: the approval of this proposition will not have an impact on the tax levy for 2019-2020.

    Otorgar la autorización a la Junta de Educación del Distrito Escolar Libre de Unión de Southampton a gastar una cantidad que no exceda de trescientos ochenta mil dólares ($380,000) para la compra o reemplazo de (3) autobuses de 72 pasajeros, de los fondos actualmente disponibles del "Fondo de Reserva Capital para Reemplazo de la Flota de Autobuses de Southampton", establecido por los votantes el 19 de mayo de 2009. NOTA: la aprobación de esta propuesta no tendrá un impacto en la recaudación de impuestos para 2019-2020.

    PROPOSITION NO. 5

    Shall the Board of Education of the Southampton Union Free School District be authorized, commencing with the 2019-2020 school year, to expend a total of one million eight hundred thousand ($1,800,000) dollars from the "2007 Ten Year Capital Reserve Fund" for building improvements of the following school facilities: (1) Southampton Elementary School - renovations to provide "Climate Control" to the third floor classrooms and offices at an estimated cost of nine hundred and seventy five thousand ($975,000) dollars; (2) Southampton Intermediate School - renovations to provide "Climate Control" to the second floor classrooms and offices at an estimated cost of eight hundred and twenty five thousand ($825,000) dollars which was previously established following approval of a proposition to the voters of the School District on May 15, 2007. Note: the approval of this proposition will not have an impact on the tax levy for 2019-2020.

    Otorgar la autorización a la Junta de Educación del Distrito Escolar Libre de Unión de Southampton, a partir del año escolar 2019-2020, a gastar un total de un millón ochocientos mil dólares ($ 1,800,000) del "Fondo de Reserva Capital de Diez Años 2007" para mejoras de las siguientes instalaciones escolares: (1) Escuela Primaria de Southampton: renovaciones para proporcionar el "Control del clima" en las aulas y oficinas del tercer piso, a un costo estimado de novecientos setenta y cinco mil dólares ($ 975,000); (2) Escuela Intermedia de Southampton: renovaciones para proporcionar el "Control del clima" en las aulas y oficinas del segundo piso, a un costo estimado de ochocientos veinticinco mil dólares ($825,000); previamente establecido luego de la aprobación de la propuesta para los votantes del Distrito escolar el 15 de mayo de 2007. Note: the approval of this proposition will not have an impact on the tax levy for 2019-2020.

    PROPOSITION NO. 6

    To adopt a resolution that the Board of Education be authorized to contract with the Southampton Youth Association in the amount of $404,314 for the 2019-2020 school year for a recreation program for the youth of the School District and the necessary tax be levied therefore.

    To adopt a resolution that the Board of Education be authorized to contract with the Southampton Historical Museum in the amount of $235,000 for the 2019-2020 school year and the necessary tax be levied therefore.
