    PROPOSITON NO. 1


    To adopt the annual budget of the Southampton Union Free School District for the fiscal year 2017-2018 in the amount of $68,847,113 and to authorize the requisite portion thereof to be raised by taxation on the taxable property of the District.

    PROPOSITON NO. 2

    To elect two (2) members of the Board of Education for a four year term commencing July 1, 2017, and expiring on June 30, 2021, to fill the positions held by ANDREW BRINDLE and CHRISTINA STRASSFIELD, whose terms expire on June 30, 2017.

    PROPOSITON NO. 3

    Shall the Board of Education be authorized to establish a Capital Reserve Fund, entitled, "The 2017 Ten Year Capital Reserve Fund" for future alterations, repairs, and reconstruction of school facilities; for a probably term of ten (10) years; in an amount not to exceed $20,000,000; to be funded in an amount not to exceed $3,000,000 in any year during the probable term with such funds to be obtained from end of budget year surplus funds and/or budget appropriations.

    PROPOSITION NO. 4

    Shall the Board of Education of the Southampton Union Free School District be authorized to appropriate and expend not to exceed the estimated amount of $230,000.00 for the purchase/replacement of one (1) 48-passenger bus and two (2) 20-passenger vans from funds currently on hand in the "Southampton Bus Fleet Replacement Capital Reserve Fund," established by the voters on May 19, 2009. NOTE: the approval of this proposition will not have an impact on the tax levy for 2017-2018.

    PROPOSITION NO. 5

    Shall the Board of Education of the Southampton Union Free School District be authorized, commencing with the 2017-2018 school year, to expend a total of approximately one million two hundred forty-five thousand ($1,245,000.00) Dollars from the "2007 Ten Year Capital Reserve Fund" for various building improvements of the following school facilities: renovation and installation of the HVAC system at the Southampton Intermediate School; renovation and construction of the locker room facilities at the Southampton Intermediate School; renovation of the bus ingress and egress at the Southampton Elementary School; renovation, purchase and installation of cabinets at the Southampton High School, and related work necessary to complete such projects. NOTE: the approval of this proposition will not have an impact on the tax levy for 2017-2018.

    PROPOSITION NO. 6

    To adopt a resolution that the Board of Education of the District be authorized to contract with the Southampton Youth Association in the amount of $407,800.00 for the 2017-2018 school year for a recreation program for the youth of the School District, subject to the approval of the New York State Division of Youth, and the necessary tax be levied therefore.

    To adopt a resolution that the Board of Education of the District be authorized to contract for services with the Southampton Historical Museum in the amount of $190,000.00 for the 2017-2018 school year and the necessary tax be levied therefore.
