Southampton Intermediate School student-musicians recently earned a rating of excellent at the Long Island Music Festival. To earn the rating, the school’s chamber choir, 7/8 chorus and orchestra each performed selections for judges. Following the performances, the
Southampton Intermediate School recently inducted two eighth graders and 26 seventh graders into the National Junior Honor Society. During the past year, these students maintained a 90 GPA, displayed leadership, character, service and citizenship, and maintained their standing on the principal's list.
On a recent sunny afternoon, Southampton Intermediate School students participated in a run against hunger at their school. In addition to taking part in the fun run, the students also engaged in a variety of carnival games and bonding activities. They raised a total of $5,000 through pledges
