Emma Pace, Class of 2020, from Water Mill, New York. She attended Our Lady of the Hamptons from 1st to 4th grade. She then attended Southampton public schools from 5th through 12thgrade. She will go on to attend a 4 year college majoring in communications. One day she may even be a producer of one of your favorite shows or movies. Her birthday is October 24, 2002 making her a Scorpio. Southampton High School has many pros including the in house aquarium and wet lab. Five words to describe herself would have to be funny, sarcastic, dramatic, kind, and level-headed. As of right now she lives with her two parents, in the coming months her oldest sister will be moving in. As for her other two older sisters they are living in Florida going to college and looking for a career. When she was younger she played many sports, she even went to lessons for softball. She does enjoy going to sporting events such as college football games and baseball games here and there. Throughout the year she hopes to join tennis, clubs and get a job. She also loves surfing and other water sports. Two things that make her happy are animals and shopping. Her favorite artist at the moment would have to be Billie Eilish, her favorite YouTube channel is Claudia Sulewski, and her favorite TV show is Friends.

 Cornelia Segarra is a part of the Class of 2022 at Southampton High School. She has been attending Southampton School District since the second grade when she moved from Bronxville in Westchester County. She has three brothers, two of which go to Chaminade High School and one that is in the Life Skills program at SHS. Her parents are both in the medical field, her dad is a gynecologist at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and her mom is a registered nurse. She plays for the girls field hockey and lacrosse teams at Southampton and enjoys playing the piano in her free time. She loves Marvel movies and some of her favorite artists include 5 Seconds Of Summer, The Aces, and The Beatles. She is in the school choir and part of VOSH (Voices Of South Hampton), a select singing group at SHS. She works at The Fudge Company on Main Street during the summer and on weekends during the school year. She has a passion for learning and being educated about past and modern issues and would like to share that with others.

Shayleigh Tribuzio is a senior at Southampton High School. She has 4 younger siblings, 3 brothers and 1 sister. She was born in Riverhead, New York but, she’s been in Southampton since 2nd grade. Now, she lives with her mom, her dad and siblings live in Georgia which gives her the opportunity to visit quite often which is super cool. On her free time, she enjoys shopping with her friends, going to the racetrack (yes, car racing) , and taking road trips. Following senior year, she hopes to attend High Point University in North Carolina and study mental health.

Sankavi Sampath is a senior in Southampton High School, and a staff writer and cartoonist for the Riptide Newspaper. She is passionate about the arts, loves literature, and is invested in the environment. In the future, she plans to get a job working with the great outdoors, and hopes to write novels and poems in her free time.

Ishanti, a senior at Southampton High School has spent most of her life, until she went to Riverhead for a year. She decided to return from Riverhead to her home town for her final year, so that she can graduate with her family & closest friends. Ishanti’s favorite subject is social studies. She plays basketball. She enjoys hanging out with friends and family, eating, and sleeping. Ishanti is also extremely funny.

Haley Thayer is a sophomore at Southampton High School. She grew up in Hampton Bays, New York and went to Our Lady of the Hamptons all through elementary and middle school. Haley moved to Southampton during the eighth grade, so she entered the class of 2022 at SHS. Haley is very active at her school, she loves to play softball, joke with her friends, and learn about art and history. She also plays tennis and enjoys going to the beach and watching movies in her free time. Haley works at the Children’s School, a preschool in the village, because she loves working with kids and hopes to help them in the future once she gets a degree in psychology.

Kayla Collado is a senior at Southampton High School. She grew up in a small town called Copiague, New York and used to go to Copiague High School till the beginning of her senior year. She later transferred to Southampton High School. After Kayla graduates high school she is going to go to college for nursing. Some words to describe Kayla are kind, outgoing, caring. This is her first year in journalism and she is looking forward to it. On Kayla’s free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, going out, and spending time with her family.
