Hi everyone. Just to let you know that students learn how to play basic chords in the class as well how to read and play a melody. 

Students learn how to play the basic guitar chords or "cowboy chords" as they are called.  We also learn some basic barre chords.

Students also learn how to read music and by the end of the semester they will be able to read and play their own part while playing with other students to create a guitar trio.
