It’s a great day to be a Midget, especially when you’re in Preschool!

Where else can you create your very own alphabet band, see a real hot air balloon, and enjoy cupcakes, cookies, and Capri Suns? If you said preschool then you are correct! We've been working and playing hard while learning all about the letter of the week and the sounds that letters make.

For the letter "A" week, we made our very own airplanes. Of course, we had to fly them! It was amazing! We read many, many "A" books but our favorite was "There is an alligator under my bed". We also made alligators using the letter a. They were awesome as well.

Letter "B" week was just as much fun, especially getting to see a hot air balloon in real life. We created bubble art, played with balloons while counting, and made a B out of the letter B. We also learned how to make a number graph by using bears. Our favorite book this week was hard to choose but, "The Three Bears"  for the win! It was so fun to read especially when students acted out the different roles in the story.

Eating cupcakes, cookies, and drinking Capri Suns was a wonderful way to end the letter "C" week! We used our handprints to create a crab. We read "Color Monster" out on the school lawn which expressed numerous emotions we can have all in a day. Preschoolers also brought an item from home that begins with the letter C for show and tell too!

Fun Fridays are also a wonderful time for Preschoolers! Students were able to watch movies, eat popcorn, celebrate birthdays, and enjoyed eating lunch outside. It is definitely a good day to be a Midget, especially when you're in PRESCHOOL!💙
