Welcome Back!

Dear Middle School students, 

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year! I am pleased to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you and welcome you to the Putnam County Middle School.  This will be my 10th year teaching but my first year as a Middle School teacher.  I will be teaching 7th-grade reading, 6th grade Social Studies, and 6th and 7th-grade girls P.E.  I am a graduate of Graceland University and I received my master’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University.  

We have many expectations for our middle school students at Putnam County. One of the biggest is being responsible for assignments and actions. Your student is responsible for completing and turning in each assignment. It is essential that you follow up on homework, correspondences, and reinforcing positive behavior. 

It is my ultimate goal for each of my middle school students to experience success and to foster a love of reading, writing, history, and of course P.E.  I am thrilled to work with you and your child over the course of the school year.
