A Wonderful Evening!
The Elementary Art Show and Music Program went wonderfully last Tuesday! Many enjoyed the evening gazing at art and listening to great music. We displayed 1st, 2nd, and 5th-grade art along with Art TAG and Elementary Art Club work. There was also a big "Dot" mural showcased. Pre-school through 5th grade each painted a dot inspired from the book The Dot written by Peter H. Reynolds.
We had little clay snowmen ornaments and birch fall tree landscapes made by 1st-grade students. 2nd-grade students created Native American stories on their mandalas and little villages which included people in canoes and teepees. 5th-grade made a patriotic quilt using U.S. symbols, and coil pottery.
Art TAG produced collage animals and painted Christmas trees to get us in the holiday spirit. Art Club had masking tape painted canvases and magnets on display.
Thank you to all the many students, staff, parents, friends, and family for all your help, heavy lifting, and support.
