Transporting the Future of Putnam County: Allen Tipton
If your student has ever ridden a school bus to Putnam County R-I Schools, you can give a thumbs up to this guy for making sure they arrived safely.
Allen Tipton is a 1987 graduate of PCR-I. He attended Northeast Missouri State (now Truman State University) for 3 years. Allen then joined the Air Force Reserves and Air National Guard in January of 1990 and served through 1998. Mr. Tipton received an Associate of Arts degree from Spokane Falls Community College in 1992. Upon graduating, Allen worked as the Operations Manager for TICO Inc. from 1993 to 2011. He then started preaching in 2010 while taking courses at Central Christian College of the Bible. He received a bachelor's degree in Religious Studies in December of 2013.
While being the director of transportation for our schools keeps Allen busy, he also enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife Wendy will be celebrating 20 years together this November. They have 3 children; Ransem-25, Chloe-16, and Claire-14.
Allen is also the minister at the Parkview Church of Christ and teaches Sunday evening services at the First Christian Church in Unionville.
This will be Mr. Tipton's 7th year working for PCR-I. Please give a warm welcome back to Mr. Allen Tipton.
