2016 Academic Hall of Fame

The UHS/PCHS Academic Hall of Fame Committee recently met to commence planning the next induction ceremony, which is tentatively set for Friday, September 2, 2016.  The dual purpose of this recognition is described as follows:

1. to honor alumni who have achieved extraordinary success in high school and college academics and in their professional careers and
2. to provide role models to current students of Putnam County R-I High School. To be considered for this honor, the following criteria must be fulfilled by the nominee:

• entire high school career was at UHS and/or PCHS
• graduated from UHS or PCHS
• graduated twenty (20) years or more prior to date of nomination
• one to (no more than) three letters of recommendation submitted
• completed application signed by person making the nomination
• submitted curriculum vitae or resume of academic and professional history of the nominee
• received nomination by January 2 for consideration for that year’s induction class
• nominee must be living at the time of nomination
