Middle School Character Education: August - September 2021

On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, our Middle School Students and Staff held their first Character Education Assembly of the year. 

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Bentley M. 

Mr. Garber welcomed everyone to the first Character Education assembly of the school year. 

August's character trait of the month was Respect. Webster defines respect as demonstrating regard for life, self, others, property, rules, and authority.

Character education word of the month was respect. These students receive a t-shirt, a concession stand voucher, and a plaque. The winners are:

6th-Nash C.

7th-Corey C.

8th-Skylar S.

Our good attitude winners for August are Bryce B (6th-grade), Landen C (7th-grade), and Brody H (8th-grade). These students have shown great attitudes in the classroom and amongst their peers. They will receive 2-10 point bonus coupons with their certificates. Thank you for being a great example for everyone at Putnam County R-1. 

Our August student of the month winners will each receive a certificate, a dog tag that allows them to get into PC events for free for the school year, and a can of pop. Students who receive this award have displayed outstanding behavior, a positive attitude, and have been great role models for his or her peers. Congratulations to Haley W (6th-grade), Jacob J (7th-grade), and Diego L (8th-grade).

September's character trait of the month is responsibility. Webster defines responsibility as dependable fulfillment of obligations to one’s self and others.

Our good attitude winners for September will receive 2-10 point bonus coupons with certificate. Congratulations to Abigail O (6th-grade), Dustin W (7th-grade), Elijah L (8th-grade).

Congratulations to our Character Educations winners for September! They will receive a PC Midget T-shirt (thank you, Hy-Vee), a plaque, and a concession stand voucher. Way to go, Tagg T (6th-grade), Lea S (7th-grade), Boden D (8th-grade). 

Congratulations to our student of the month winners for September! They will each receive a certificate, dog tag, and candy.

Congratulations to the winners for August and September, your character and good deeds do not go unnoticed. Keep up the good work!
