Good Afternoon Pioneer Elementary Families,
Today we had a water main break that supplies the water to the elementary school. In order to make the necessary repairs, we will need to shut off water to the school for one to two days.
Because there will be no water at the school for drinking, handwashing, flushing toilets, and cleaning, the elementary school will be closed on February 8, 2022 to make the necessary repairs to this water main. There is a possibility of being closed for an additional day if the repairs cannot be completed by the end of the day tomorrow.
We know this is a huge inconvenience and are very sorry for the lateness of this notice. To be clear, the elementary school will be completely closed tomorrow with no remote learning while the middle school remains open for in-person learning.
