Wapello County Public Health will be hosting a community clinic on Saturday, April 10th at Evans Middle School for community members 18 years and older. The clinic will run from 9 a.m. until 500 doses are gone. Vaccine recipients will also need to keep Saturday, May 8 open for the follow-up clinic to receive the second dose. The Moderna vaccine is a two-dose series. Both doses need to be taken to receive the full benefit of the vaccine.
Iowa Governor Reynolds has announced on April 5 that all restrictions on vaccine access have been lifted since vaccines are now becoming more plentiful. This will make access to vaccines easier for everyone wanting to be vaccinated at any local vaccine provider.
