Attendance Hours

Attendance hours for Pickwick Early Childhood Center are based on neighborhood assignment: 

• Red class hours are 8 a.m - 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday
• Blue class hours are 8:10 a.m - 3:10 p.m. Monday through Thursday
• Green class hours are 8:20 a.m - 3:20 p.m. Monday through Thursday
• Orange Kindergarten class hours are 8:05 a.m. - 3:05 p.m. Monday through Thursday (Friday 1:00 p.m. dismissal)

Weather-Related School Cancellations or Early Dismissals

In the event that school is cancelled, delayed or being dismissed early due to inclement (bad) weather, it will be announced on the district's website, Facebook, Twitter, all the Ottumwa radio stations, and television channels 3, 8 and 13. These media sources are notified immediately after the decision is made. You can also view any cancellations or delays on our school website at http://www.ottumwaschools.com.

Please be sure to make arrangements in advance with someone who can be called in case we cannot reach you. We are always concerned that an adult be available for your child. For this reason, please make sure that we have your most current address and contact phone numbers on file so that we can contact you.
