Great Pandemic Pumpkin Adventure

Since the beginning of the year Kelly Young's class has been taking a morning walk through the neighborhood to get some fresh air. We have met many neighbors who have come to enjoy our trips past their homes. This has been a great experience for my students and the neighbors. Especially, with all the restrictions the pandemic has created this school year.

On Thursday, the class walked to Ralph and Lois Young’s (Young's aunt and uncle) yard to pick out a pumpkin. The walk was called the Great Pandemic Pumpkin Adventure. "The kids had a great time, the weather turned out perfect, and the kids met some new neighbors in our school neighborhood," said Young.
