Ottumwa Community Preschool teacher, Kelly Young, was busy taking pictures and talking to families Tuesday morning.
A tradition in her preschool classroom is hosting a breakfast event for families. Students and families brought their own breakfast today and ate during the first 30 minutes of class. If someone forgot, Young had toast and juice available. Several of the families had previous connections to Young, as either former parents, or even former students! The afternoon class will bring lunch.
Young sees the event as another opportunity to connect and build relationships with her families.
