Several grandparents visited Kelly Young's preschool classes on Thursday. National Grandparents Day is Sunday, September 11. President Jimmy Carter, in 1978, proclaimed that National Grandparents Day would be celebrated every year on the first Sunday after Labor Day.
Young provided some treats and grandparents experienced a typical day of preschool with their grandchild.
