Ottumwa Community Schools still has openings in their free four-year-old preschool program, housed at the Ottumwa Community Preschool on E. Williams (formerly Agassiz Elementary). Parents wanting to register can stop by the office between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. to pick up enrollment forms. Forms are also available on the website or can be mailed by contacting the preschool secretary at 641-684-7179.
The district also has openings for three-year-olds in the Shared Visions preschool program. This program is a collaboration between Head Start and Ottumwa Community Schools. For more information on registration, contact Sara Whitlow at 641-682-8741.
Preschool classes begin on Monday, August 31 with morning and afternoon classes. Preschool daycare is also available.
