In May, all four-year-old preschoolers had the opportunity to travel to Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines. The trip was funded through a Bright Ideas grant from the Ottumwa Regional Legacy Foundation. Fearing rain, both trips were able to see the zoo without getting wet! Students enjoyed learning about all the animals. After their trip, students did many activities in their classroom linked to the trip.
