25-26 Registration

VPK Information
Participating children must be 4 years old on or before September 1. Parents whose children are born between February 2 and September 1 of the calendar year may postpone enrolling their 4-year old until the following year when their child is 5.  Parents must first apply online through the Office of Early Learning’s Family Portal website at https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com to obtain their child’s eligibility certificate.

Below are the dates for 2025-2026 VPK Registration: 

  • March 3, 2025 - March 7, 2025 (Internal Registration – 1 week)
    • Families with students currently enrolled at VPK schools are given priority to register this week only
    • Current staff members with eligible children are given priority to register during this week only

 

  •  March 10, 2025 – March 28, 2025 (Open Registration – Zoned Students – 2 weeks)
    • Schools may begin enrolling children zoned for their schools this week
    • A waitlist must be used once a VPK class reaches its capacity 
    • Out-of-zone families may be placed on a waitlist until March 31, 2025

 

  • March 31, 2025 (Out of Zone)
    • If space remains available in the program, out-of-zone students may be registered from the waitlist 
    • Title One schools may give priority to students zoned in any other Title I school this week

 

  • July 7, 2025 (Title I Opens Out of Zone)
    • Title I schools may begin filling all remaining spots with children from the waitlist that are zoned for Title and non-Title I schools
