Palmetto Families,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! It is an honor to serve as principal of Palmetto Elementary School. I look forward to working in partnership with all stakeholder groups to ensure that every student has a promising and successful future.
At Palmetto Elementary, we are committed to providing students with an educational experience that influences and motivates them to be lifelong learners. This year, we will place a strong focus on increasing student learning while creating a safe and positive culture where all students feel valued and accepted.
Parents, teachers, support staff, community members, and administration all play an important role in helping our students develop a wide variety of skills. Together, we will make positive strides to ensure students prosper in both academic and interpersonal skills. We strongly encourage all our families participate in our School Advisory Council and Parent Teacher Association. Please be sure to check our website calendar and social media periodically for updates regarding school wide events. Additionally, communicate with your child’s teacher often and utilize Skyward parent access to stay up to date on your child’s progress.
